Load Master Introduction Program
Non – Certificated
In civil or military aviation, a LoadMaster is a person that is responsible for loading and unloading the aircraft safely so that persons, cargo and aircraft do not suffer any incidents and/or accidents. He or she may not be the person actually loading the cargo, but the person managing all personnel around the aircraft and supervising everyone’s safety so that the aircraft is loaded within the parameters of center of gravity (CG), aircraft floor loading limitations amongst other important aspects of weight and balance and proper loading procedures as well as tie-down and dangerous goods. This is a Non-Certificated LoadMaster Program for those interested in learning the basics of this important role within the aviation industry. It is a highly recommended course for new aircraft dispatchers, especially those looking to work for cargo air carriers. In many airlines, LoadMasters and Aircraft Dispatchers work side by side to ensure safe and on-time departures. At the conclusion of this course, students will have broader knowledge of what is expected by different air carriers. This course uses the B767F and A330F as an example, however, other aircraft will be briefly studied as well. A certificate of attendance will be awarded to students after successfully passing all training.Important Note
This course is only an INTRODUCTION and intended for students interested in becoming or understanding the duties of a LoadMaster. It is taught by experienced LoadMasters based on RECOMMENDATIONS of standard practices used in LoadMaster duties. It is NOT intended to override or change any other training given by a specific air carrier. PLEASE FOLLOW YOUR AIRLINE MANUALS AND PROCEDURES. FAA and other government authorities have NOT certified LoadMasters with Federal Licenses. Air Carriers train their employees according to their own standard operating procedures for the specific type aircraft they operate. DO NOT use this program as your only reference for loading/unloading aircraft or managing cargo or ground personnel.2 Days (14 Hours) | $ 470 USD* |
