Airport, Runway and Ramp Procedures Safety Program
This program provides an excellent learning opportunity for everyone working in the aviation industry. Regardless of whether you work in or around aircraft, airports, or even away from the terminal area, having the necessary knowledge and understanding of what goes on in these types of environments will make you more alert and ensure comprehension of why things happen the way they do.
Airport charts, terminal procedures including standard terminal arrival routes (STARs), departure procedures, airport lighting and signs, GDP’s, runways and airport closures, pilot and ground personnel procedures, human factors, weather delays and much more will be studied.
A certificate of completion will be awarded to students after successfully passing all required training.
* This program is FREE for all TAS Aircraft Dispatcher graduates as it is mostly a refresher from subjects given in the course.
